New city = new culinary experiences! Fooding is a big part of my life: I tend to be very curious in this field and I love discovering other flavours/specialities from all over the world, until I land in Bamako. Finally, not in the strict sense of the word since I stayed in Paris but my taste buds travelled to an African canteen that is none other than the BMK in the 10th arrondissement.
By name, this may not mean anything to you, but it is the largest culinary festival in the City of Light. Under the magnificent glass roof of the Grand Palais are small gastronomic islands that welcome many great chefs for a few days. As soon as you walk through the doors, the subtle smell of the various ephemeral restaurants intoxicates you, the warm atmosphere exalts you and this impressive space captivates you. True epicurean… I can tell you that I was completely in my element.
Another restaurant, another atmosphere! It was in the centre of the French capital that I came across this elegant nugget. Here, you are sure to enjoy delicious dishes one more than the other. This new Parisian gustatory address is Silk & Spice: one of the places known for its contemporary Thai cuisine in the famous Montorgueil district.
